Canadian Conference on Social Enterprise 2019
Postponed due to floods
Unfortunately, the Canadian Conference on Social Enterprise will be postponed to July 8 – 10 due to severe flooding in the city of Gatineau.
There has been a request from the Canadian Red Cross for the hotel venue, the Crowne Plaza, to provide rooms for emergency housing over the next few weeks. Given the severity of the situation there, we are more than willing to help and we hope for the best for all affected. If you’d like to find out more or support the response by the Canadian Red Cross, find out more here: https://www.redcross.ca/how-we-help/current-emergency-responses/spring-flooding-2019
For those currently registered or speaking/facilitating: You will receive an email with more information as soon as possible regarding the plan moving forward and keeping/canceling your registration. For those with bookings at the Crowne Plaza, the hotel will be contacting you directly regarding refunds for the rooms – a new room block will be opened up for the new dates as soon as possible.
For those not previously registered: We hope to re-open registration as soon as possible. Watch our website, social media, and CCEDNet’s mailing list for a relaunch of the event.
Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for any registration questions or concerns.
Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding!
